Eastern Wind Glass Classes for January and February
STAINED GLASS USING COPPER FOIL
This class is for the beginner or for the person that needs a refresher course.
We will cover choosing glass, learn how to score the glass,pattern making,
applying copper foil, soldering and finishing the piece for hanging.
Meets once a week for 4 weeks
January 13 to February 3 11am to 2pm
February 10 to March 3 5pm to 8pm
$120.00 and $15.00 materials fee per 4 week session

STAINED GLASS USING LEAD CAME
We will review glass cutting, learn how to cut and use the lead came, soldering ,
puttying and completing the stained glass piece. Glass cutting experienced preferred.
Meets once a week for 4 weeks
January 15 to February 5 5pm to 8pm
February 16 to March 3 1pm to 4pm
$120.00 and $15.00 materials fee per 4 week session

BEGINNING GLASS FUSING
Students will learn what glass fusing is,how to score glass, work with frit and stringers.
There will also be discussion on what kind of glass you use for fusing,what COE is and
the differences between kilns. Students will make up to three projects.

FUSED GLASS WINDCHIMES
If you love windchimes you will love this class.Make small or large windchimes, design
your own or use patterns we have. You will learn to cut the glass and lay out the design.
After firing, you will learn to string your own wind chime.
Once a week for 2 weeks
January 16 1 to 3pm
January 19 6 to 8pm
February 12 6 to 8pm
February 18 1 to 3pm
$70.00 and $15.00 materials fee per two week session.

FUSED GLASS FUSING LEVEL 2
This class is a continuation of the beginning glass fusing class. The students will learn
to slump glass, work more in depth with frit and stringers, refine cutting skills. Once the
student finishes this class they will have enough skill and information to start designing
their own fused glass art.
Once a week for 3 weeks
January 30 to February 13 12 to 3pm
February 8 to February 22 2 to 5pm
$120.00 and $15.00 materials fee per three week session.
Student purchases glass.
